Rotel Michi Prestige X430 Integrated Amplifier

The Michi Prestige X430 is a Class AB integrated amplifier built around a 210 watt per channel output into 8 ohms, rising to 340 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Power comes from an in-house manufactured toroidal transformer feeding fully isolated supply rails, an arrangement that keeps the analogue and digital sections from interfering with one another and holds distortion below 0.03%. A damping factor of 260 gives the amplifier firm control over difficult loudspeaker loads.

Digital duties are handled by an ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M 32-bit DAC, fed from coaxial, optical, HDMI ARC and PC-USB inputs, with aptX HD and AAC Bluetooth for wireless sources. A moving magnet phono stage is included for turntables. The aluminium chassis, knurled volume control, glass front panel and full-colour display with spectrum and VU meter views place the X430 at the top of the Michi Prestige line.
