The Rotel C8 is an 8-channel Class AB custom installation amplifier delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or 70 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a bridged option of 140 watts into 4-ohm loads. An oversized in-house manufactured toroidal transformer drives sixteen output devices across the eight channels.
Four analogue inputs are matrixed to all zones, and a front panel display with independent volume, bass and treble controls per zone gives local control at the amplifier. Control system integration is available through IP and RS232 interfaces alongside a 12-volt trigger, and the custom 2U chassis needs no top or bottom clearance when rack mounting.
