The Rotel CD11MKII replaces the previous CD11 Tribute model, carrying over 10 critical component upgrades in the digital circuits surrounding a Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384 kHz DAC. A heavy steel chassis and proprietary transport with smooth tray loading and a silent motor controller keep mechanical noise out of the signal path.

A coaxial digital output lets the CD11MKII serve as a CD transport as well as a standalone player, and disc compatibility extends to MP3 files burned to CD alongside standard audio discs.
