The Rotel DX-5 is a personal audio integrated amplifier and DAC in a compact, size-efficient chassis, delivering 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 33 watts into 4 ohms of Class AB power. An ESS ES9039Q2M DAC handles conversion for coaxial, optical and PC-USB inputs, the latter supporting 32-bit/384 kHz PCM and DSD to 11.2 MHz.
A full-colour TFT display, front panel 6.35 mm headphone jack, dedicated remote and Roon Tested certification are packed into a footprint small enough for a desk. HDMI ARC and CEC allow the DX-5 to serve as a compact television audio solution, and a subwoofer output extends bass in smaller rooms.
