The award-winning F501 is the smaller of the two floor-standing loudspeakers in the F500 series but is capable of delivering low bass and effortless dynamics from a compact, small-footprint cabinet. Bringing additional scale and power to the F500 Series’ signature clarity and articulation, the 150mm (6″) proprietary IsoFlare^TM driver is accompanied by a matched 150mm (6″) bass driver. The IsoFlare^TM driver delivers isotropic energy radiation with point source constant directivity providing outstanding stereo imaging, even off-axis. Ideal for small to medium-sized rooms, the F501 is supplied with a dedicated plinth incorporating our BassTrax^TM Tractrix diffuser system, which integrates bass energy uniformly into the room

The luxuriously finished, contemporary-styled cabinet is available in a choice of dark oak or black oak real wood veneer and piano gloss black or white. Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, it has a gently curved front and rear baffle which additionally benefits the acoustic performance by reducing coloration effects. Multifibre Cones with Fluted Rubber Surrounds for Natural-Sounding Mid-Range
The main drive units are designed and engineered with maximum attention to detail. A rigid, cast aluminum chassis give optimum support and ventilation, both of which reduce distortion. The multifibre cones are attached to the chassis by fluted rubber surrounds. These effectively dampened unwanted resonances, making the speakers sound exceptionally smooth and life-like.

Innovative Technology
Far from being another speaker clone, the F501 uses innovative technology. The innovation starts right at the top. Rather than placing the titanium tweeter separately, it’s within the throat of the woofer unit. Using their proprietary IsoFlare waveguide, the high-frequency sound blends seamlessly with the rest of the mix, giving a wide and natural-sounding soundstage from a single-point source.

The innovation continues right to the bottom of the speaker, with the BassTrax port system. Rather than using a basic bass port at the front or back of the cabinet, Fyne Audio has developed a sophisticated downwards-firing port system. Channeling the air down a profiled diffuser, the air is dispersed uniformly in the room. This neat bit of design makes the speakers far less fussy about room positioning, making them easier to accommodate in most homes.

Top Quality Finishes in Real Wood Veneer
Rather than using low-cost vinyl, Fyne Audio has elected to use selected real wood veneers for these top-quality speakers. Real wood veneer not only looks and feels luxurious but also has the benefit of enhancing sound. As the veneer is applied and settles it ‘tightens’ around the cabinet, improving the cabinet rigidity for enhanced detail. Choose from dark oak or black oak finishes to best match your home décor.
