JBL Stage 245C 2.5-Way Centre Channel Speaker

The Stage 245C is the centre channel of JBL's Stage 2 Series, designed and engineered at Harman's Northridge acoustic centre in California and sold as a single speaker. It is a 2.5-way design running four 4.5 inch polycellulose ribbed cone woofers around a 1 inch anodised aluminium dome tweeter in JBL's next generation HDI waveguide. It is voiced to match the rest of the Stage 2 range, so it blends cleanly whether your left and right speakers are the floorstanders, the bookshelves or the in-wall models.

The centre channel carries most of the dialogue in a film, so getting it right matters more than any other speaker in a home theatre. The four woofers and 2.5-way crossover give the 245C the output and clarity to keep voices intelligible even when the soundtrack is busy, and the HDI waveguide spreads that evenly across a sofa rather than favouring the person sitting dead centre.
