JBL Stage 260C 6.5" In-Ceiling Speaker (Each)

The Stage 260C is the standard flat in-ceiling loudspeaker of JBL's Stage Architectural range, sold as a single piece. It uses a 6.5 inch polycellulose cone woofer and a 1 inch aluminium dome tweeter with an acoustic lens waveguide, mounted on a flat round baffle that fires straight down. It is the plain, cost-effective ceiling speaker in the range, the one to reach for when the cutout can sit directly over or near the listening area and no angling is needed.

It shares the clean-install approach of the rest of the range. The zero bezel metal grille sits flush with the ceiling with no visible frame and can be painted to match, and a rigid baffle with acoustic smoothing keeps the sound clear. A premium crossover with air-core inductors and mylar capacitors holds the sound together at volume, the XL-2 installation system clamps to ceiling material up to 2 inches thick, and at 100 mm the mounting depth is shallow enough for most ceiling voids.
