The Stage 260CDT is the single-stereo in-ceiling loudspeaker of JBL's Stage Architectural range, sold as a single piece. It pairs a dual voice coil 6.5 inch polycellulose cone woofer with two 3/4 inch aluminium dome tweeters, each with an acoustic lens waveguide. That layout lets one speaker reproduce both the left and right channels at once, so a single unit delivers stereo sound from one point in the ceiling.

This is the speaker for places where you can only fit one. A hallway, a walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite or a small kitchen rarely has room or symmetry for a proper stereo pair, and a normal single speaker plays only one channel there. The 260CDT takes the left and right feed into its dual voice coil woofer and splits the highs across its two tweeters, giving a sense of stereo width from a single cutout. It uses the same clean-install approach as the rest of the range, with a zero bezel paintable grille, a rigid baffle with acoustic smoothing, the XL-2 clamp system for material up to 2 inches thick, and its shallow 106 mm mounting depth is the least demanding in the ceiling line.
