The KEF EGG Duo is a compact two-way wireless music system built around KEF's 11th Generation Uni-Q driver array, inspired by the technology in the LSX. Each speaker houses a 19mm aluminium dome tweeter at the acoustic centre of a 115mm magnesium/aluminium alloy cone driver, both operating from a single point source to deliver a remarkably coherent and wide stereo image from a desktop-sized enclosure.

Amplification is provided by twin Class D amplifiers delivering a combined 50 watts. Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec handles wireless streaming from any smartphone or tablet. A 3.5mm AUX input, a Mini USB Type-B digital input, and a Mini Toslink optical input cover every wired source a modern system is likely to connect.
