The KEF KC92 is a compact, sealed force-cancelling subwoofer with two 9-inch drivers, 1,000 watts RMS of Class D amplification, and a frequency response reaching down to 11Hz. Evolved from the KF92, it brings improved performance through KEF's Music Integrity Engine digital signal processing, which includes iBX Intelligent Bass Extension for deeper, more precise bass at any listening level. The two drivers are mounted in a force-cancelling configuration, with each driver cancelling the reactive forces of the other. This virtually eliminates cabinet vibration, allows the sealed enclosure to remain compact, and enables the KC92 to achieve 110dB maximum output from a cabinet measuring just 353 x 330 x 361mm. The drivers feature a hybrid aluminium/paper cone with a P-Flex surround, engineered to resist cabinet pressure more effectively than conventional surround designs, enabling more precise cone movement and lower distortion.

Connectivity includes KEF SmartConnect via RCA phono sockets, speaker-level inputs for systems without a dedicated subwoofer output, and a high-pass filtered line output for passing a filtered signal to the main amplifier. Five room position EQ presets allow the KC92 to be optimised for corner, wall, or free-standing placement without manual EQ adjustment. Power management options include auto wake-up from audio signal, always-on mode, and 12V trigger. A USB-C port enables firmware updates.
