The KEF R8 Meta is a two-way compact speaker in KEF's R Series, purpose-designed to add Dolby Atmos height channels to an existing R Series system without requiring ceiling installation. It can be placed on top of a front or rear speaker to bounce sound off the ceiling for overhead Dolby Atmos effects, or wall-mounted horizontally as a dedicated surround or rear channel. Using the same 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) found across the entire R Series, it maintains the tonal consistency that makes a coherent multi-channel system possible. Available in Black Gloss, White Gloss, and Walnut, and sold as a pair.
