Dirac Live
Built-in machine learning allows the TX-RZ70 to use Dirac Live Room Calibration Full Bandwidth to adapt and calibrate audio settings that are specific to your particular speaker system and room layout. This technology is upgradeable to Dirac Live Bass Control Single/Multi Subwoofer, which as the name implies, offers additional calibration for low-end bass as well.

IMAX Enhanced Mode
Recreate IMAX content as the filmmakers intended by using IMAX Enhanced Mode. This mode precisely adheres to standards set by IMAX to reduce noise and grain, resulting in a sharp and clear picture on your display. IMAX support also grants a stretched aspect ratio for up to 26% more picture when watching supported content.

Klipsch Optimize Mode
Through a partnership with Klipsch, Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere owners can enjoy a simple and straightforward setup when integrating their speakers with the TX-RZ70. Simply select the model of speaker for each channel, and the TX-RZ70 will automatically optimize the crossover settings.

Works with Sonos Certified
When pairing the TX-RZ70 with up to three optional Sonos Ports, the receiver can seamlessly integrate with your existing Sonos home sound system. This connectivity gives you the ability to use the Sonos app to change inputs and various settings, in addition to playing your favorite music at the volume you enjoy using Sonos Volume-Pass Through. With more than one Sonos Port, you gain the ability to create independent zones, playing different audio in each one of them through Sonos Radio.

DTS Play-Fi

With a Wi-Fi connection and rooms equipped with compatible speakers, DTS Play-Fi can be used to create a multi-room audio solution throughout your home. Synchronize music playback in every room or let each family member control their own music in one room or group of rooms using the Onkyo Music Control app on iOS and Android devices. However you setup your listening zones, you can access music from streaming apps, networked media services, and other connected devices.

Discrete Zone 2 HDMI Switching

Everyone in the family can enjoy their favorite content in their own spaces. Parents can watch a movie in the living room, while kids enjoy cartoons in a separate room. The TX-RZ70 supports up to 8K60 video to either Zone 1 or Zone 2, or up to 4K120 when streaming to both zones simultaneously.

Bidirectional Bluetooth Streaming
Stream high-quality 24-bit audio through the TX-RZ70 using aptX HD and Bluetooth-compatible devices, such as your smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth streaming is bidirectional, which means the TX-RZ70 can also send audio to an optional Bluetooth speaker or pair of headphones.
