Country of Origin:

The Parasound NC 200INT is a compact integrated amplifier from the Parasound NC Series, combining 110 watts per channel of Class D amplification by Pascal with a Burr-Brown PCM1798 DAC, MM and MC phono stage, analogue bass management, home theatre bypass, a dedicated headphone amplifier, variable and fixed preamp outputs, and RS-232 system control in a slim 1U chassis.

The DAC accepts USB at up to 96kHz/24-bit and optical or coaxial digital at up to 192kHz/24-bit. The phono stage handles moving magnet at 47k ohms (40dB gain) and moving coil at 100 ohms (50dB gain). Four analogue line inputs, a bypass input for surround sound or streamer integration, variable and fixed stereo preamp outputs, and two subwoofer outputs cover every practical system configuration. ProHiFi is an authorised Parasound dealer in India.

The analogue bass management section provides a variable high-pass crossover for the main outputs (adjustable from 20 to 140Hz) alongside a fixed 80Hz low-pass subwoofer output and a full-range subwoofer or mono zone output, both controllable via the backlit remote. The power supply accepts 100-250V AC automatically, confirming India 230V mains compatibility. 2-way RS-232 with exact volume feedback and a Control4 driver make it suitable for control system installations.

Sound and Vision called it audiophile and adaptable enough to get all the music out of your music, and named it a Top Picks of the Year finalist in 2020. AVForums awarded it a Recommended in 2023. HIFI Trends described its neutral and transparent sound as making any speaker you hook up to it sound amazing. HIFI Sound Enthusiast noted it exhibits airiness that adds to a very realistic musical experience, impressively found in a system at this price.

Why Consider the Parasound NC 200INT

The NC 200INT is the right choice for listeners who want the same feature set as the NC 200PRE preamplifier but with amplification built in, in the same 1U chassis. For those who do not already own a separate power amplifier, it delivers 110 watts per channel, a Burr-Brown DAC, MM and MC phono, analogue bass management with a variable crossover, and home theatre bypass in a single component that accepts 230V mains. Sound and Vision's conclusion that it is audiophile and adaptable enough to get all the music out of your music reflects the consistent reviewer consensus across five publications and three years of reviews. Compared to the NC 200PRE plus an NC power amplifier, the INT simplifies the system to a single box at a lower combined cost for those starting fresh.

Ideal for

  • Listeners wanting a complete integrated amplifier with DAC, phono, and bass management
  • 2.1 systems needing analogue bass management with variable crossover built in
  • Vinyl listeners wanting MM and MC phono in a compact integrated amplifier
  • Home cinema and music hybrid setups using the home theatre bypass input
  • Control system installations requiring RS-232 and Control4 driver support
  • Compact or rack-mounted systems where a 1U single-box solution is preferred
