The Parasound ZoneMaster ZM2 is a compact half-width stereo power amplifier delivering 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 150 watts into 4 or 2 ohms, with a built-in 80Hz low-pass subwoofer mode, speaker-level input, A/B speaker outputs for up to four speakers, and looping 12V trigger output. The built-in 80Hz, 18dB per octave low-pass filter in mono/sub mode allows the ZM2 to drive passive in-wall, in-ceiling, or standalone subwoofers directly without an external crossover. A speaker-level input makes it straightforward to integrate into systems where the main amplifier or AV receiver has no dedicated preamplifier outputs. The Class AB input stage with premium Class D power stage keeps the unit cool and efficient in continuous use.
