A Thorough Comparison of Features of AVR-X2800H vs AVR-X3800H

The current market study shows that AVR-X3800H is better than AVR-X2800H for those customers who are looking for a budget-friendly home theater processor. However, as per many reviews, the Denon x3800H AV receivers are available with a plethora of features that might be challenging for a user to make use of. But these are undoubtedly some of the best offerings by the brand and enable the user to expand their home cinema as per their future requirements.

But the real question boils down to which one of these two models can get a permanent place in your living room. Let’s check out the features of both AVR-X2800H vs AVR-X3800H meticulously to determine the fate of these products without any second guesses:

SOUND

AVR-X2800H promises to deliver a well-spread soundstage not relying on the heavy low-end prowess to produce authoritative and mature sound. Unlike the 2700, the 2800 offers more dynamic headroom by giving additional detail to create a profound impact which is much more than just sheer bass. Along with that, this product also offers ample audio variation to add liveliness and more clarity for higher engagement.

The AVR-X2800H is available with Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume. The availability of Compressed Music EnhancersEnhancer in both the models enhances the overall music quality for files with lossy compression. Denon AVC-X3800H is available with Audyssey Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, LFC and Sub EQ HT. So, Audyssey Dynamic Volume is responsible for monitoring program material volume while automatically adjusting it to maintain the desired level for every content. Simultaneously Audyssey Dynamic Volume also optimizes the dynamic range for prolonged impact.

On the other hand, Audyssey LFC or Low-FrequencyLow Frequency Containment is responsible for reducing the volume at different frequencies while applying psychoacoustic processing for restoring the perceptions of the low bass for listeners within the rooms. So, in layman’s terms, it helps the users to enjoy the music without disturbing the neighbors. Audyssey Sub EQ HT is the one that helps you to place the two subwoofers appropriately within the room along with your home theater system with full automation to produce rich full bass.

In conclusion, both the Denon AVR-X2800H and AVR-X3800H are excellent AV receivers with their own unique set of features. The AVR-X3800H offers more channels and higher power output, making it a great option for those who want to expand their home cinema system in the future. However, the AVR-X2800H offers a more well-spread soundstage and dynamic headroom, making it a great option for those who want a more nuanced and mature sound.

Ultimately, the decision between these two models comes down to personal preference and the specific needs of the user within a specific budget. Ultimately, it's a difficult decision, but both models are excellent choices and will provide a great home theater experience.
